If you are visiting Türkiye for the first time, Istanbul is undoubtedly a city you cannot miss. Here, magnificent mosques, churches and palace buildings stand side by side, showing Türkiye's rich history and culture, waiting to be explored~

📍 Camii (Figure 5-6), also known as the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, was built in the 16th century. Facing Hagia Sophia, they are two major landmark buildings in Istanbul. The exquisite blue tiles inside are exquisite.

(Figure 7-8) Located on the west bank of the Golden Horn, it is known as the most beautiful mosque in Istanbul. It was designed and built between 1550 and 1557 by Sinancan, a famous architect during the heyday of the Ottoman Empire.
📍 Camii (Figure 9-11) means "Conqueror's Mosque" in Turkish. It is the first mosque built after the Ottoman Empire conquered Istanbul.
📍 Sultan Camii (Figure 12-13) was designed by Mimar Sinan and built for Mihrimah Sultan, the beloved daughter of Suleiman the Magnificent. The exquisite colored glass ball decorations and the birdcage-like chandelier are enough to make it included in the list of the most beautiful mosques in Istanbul.
📍 Also known as Müzesi (Figure 14-16), it is another Byzantine building, second only to the Hagia Sophia Mosque in importance. The magnificent mosaic paintings made on the walls of the church in the 14th century are the pride of this building.
