Lots of people don’t know that the Princes Islands are just a short ferry ride away from the centre of Istanbul. These car free islands are full of lovely beaches and feel a world away from the chaos of the city - it’s perfect if the city gets too much!

The biggest islands are Buyukada, Heybeliada and Kinaliada. Take the local ferry from any of the ports and hop between them at your leisure - there is no need to do or pay for a cruise!
