Galata Tower (Galata Kulesi) is an iconic landmark of Istanbul!!
A medieval stone tower built by the Genoese in the 14th century (1348).
It was used as a watchtower and fire watchtower during the Ottoman Empire, and you can feel the depth of history.
The medieval European-style cylindrical tower contrasts with the modern atmosphere of the Galata district, surrounded by narrow alleys, and you can enjoy its unique atmosphere.
Galata Tower is located in the trendy Beyoğlu district, and there are many stylish cafes in the surrounding area.
The dessert, cheesecake with chocolate dipped in particular, was very delicious.
When sightseeing, be sure to find your favorite cafe!
