Some people enjoy surfing at Usami Beach.

It is one of the longest beaches in the Izu area, stretching for over 1.5km.

There are also many reasonably priced hot spring inns, so it's perfect for a spontaneous weekend trip.

About a 5-minute walk from Usami Station on the JR East Ito Line.
