The Yellow Hill of Inuyori Pass

In spring, the approximately 2-hectare hill at Inuyori Pass is dyed yellow with rape blossoms. The yellow hill, which took two years to develop, was filled with rape blossoms in the spring of 2015, the third year. Rumors spread that it was the "yellow hill" of Sareya, and now it attracts 500 people at its peak. In autumn, cosmos flowers bloom on the yellow hill. These cosmos are also planted as varieties that bloom yellow flowers.

Another topic of conversation is the large number of migratory butterflies, the Monarch butterfly, that fly more than 2,000 km south across the Japanese archipelago from autumn to winter.

It is a popular spot where you can see beautiful scenery all year round.
