autumn vibes at Shuzenji Temple

We visited Shuzenji Temple as part of a day tour. It isnt very big and can be done in half an hour. What amazed me were the maple trees in its compound. We visited at the peak and they were so beautiful! Coupled with the afternoon sun, which highlighted the red of the leaves.

Do also take a walk along the river right outside the temple. The maple leaves were also at peak!

We were very happy that we managed to see and take photos against the beautiful autumn backdrop.

Can consider to stay overnight near here or stay at Shizuoka and include here as part of the itinerary. We saw hot spring resorts along the way!
