Laforet Shuzenji Sanshisuimei: Spacious rooms with open-air baths are a highlight!

#Sakura2024
Introducing Laforet Shuzenji Sanshisuimei, a lodging with rooms featuring an open-air bath. Located within Laforet Shuzenji Resort, these independent cottage-style rooms feature an open-air bath. 🎵 Head to the resort by private bus from Shuzenji Station. It's about a 20-minute ride from Shuzenji Station. Check in at the Center House, the last stop! After checking in, hop back on the resort bus to head to the Sanshisuimei area. It's just a few minutes' bus ride from the Center House to Sanshisuimei. The bus itself runs roughly every 15 to 20 minutes. Our room, called Sanshisuimei no Mizu, is spacious and includes a Japanese-style room, bedroom, shower room, and open-air bath. 🎵 If you're lucky, you can even see Mt. Fuji from the hot spring! In the morning, we managed to catch a glimpse of the top of Mt. Fuji. lol The hot spring water was already filled up as soon as you entered the room, so it was great to be able to soak right away. 🩷 Toothbrushes, combs, and shower caps aren't provided in the room, so bring your own or purchase them at the Center House when you check in! The amenities included a set of Sekkisei lotion, milk, facial cleanser, and cleanser. 🎵 I usually don't include dinner on my plan, and I did the same this time, but it was a long bus ride from the resort to town to buy dinner, and delivery isn't allowed within the resort. 🈲
So I added the dinner buffet to my plan.
The buffet was ¥8,800 per person. It had a wide variety of options, from strawberries and cake to Japanese and Western dishes, and it was a half-buffet style where you could order one main dish. 🎵 As you'd expect from Laforet, it was absolutely delicious. 🥹For the buffet, we went to the Marriott within the resort. It was also a bit of a hassle because it was on a private bus. 😅
The resort also had a sauna and a large public bath!
Another bus ride.
I'm not a fan of large public baths, so I stayed in the open-air bath in my room the whole time. I used it six times during my stay. ♨️It was a bit of a hassle to move around the facility, but the cottage-style rooms are rare and spacious. It felt special and overall was a nice room. 🙆
