The Hawa Mahal, located in Jaipur, India, was built in 1799. The five-story building boasts a staggering 953 windows. Due to the conservative customs of the time, the windows, resembling beehives, were designed to allow the concubines inside the palace to see the street without being seen by those outside. Located on a busy street in Jaipur, the Hawa Mahal is often crowded with people and vehicles. To avoid congestion, the tour leader arranges the first stop for a visit early in the morning, when there are fewer people, vehicles, and other tourists. The tour leader will then return to the market in the afternoon to take photos of the Hawa Mahal.
