Introducing Shizhangdong Waterfall

Shizhangdong Waterfall, 76 meters high and 80 meters wide, is the largest waterfall in my country's Danxia landform and the largest waterfall in the Yangtze River basin. Located in the upper reaches of the Fengxi River in southern Chishui City, Guizhou Province, over 30 kilometers from the city, it is surrounded by scenic spots such as Zhongdong Waterfall, Panlong Waterfall, Lianghekou Waterfall, Jifeiya Waterfall, Xiangxi Lake, Shisun Peak, Lingzhi Stone, a hundred-acre camellia forest, and extensive forests of rhododendrons and alsochondriacs. The scenic area boasts winding paths and dense shade, creating a natural waterfall park with attractions such as the waterfall viewing platform, Langqin Bay, Feihong Bridge, Yiwu Road, Sansheng Temple, Xiantai Stage, and Anpu Rock.

Shizhangdong Waterfall is part of the Shizhangdong Waterfall Group, which also includes Panlong Waterfall, Jifeiyan Waterfall, Renyouxi Waterfall, Zhongdong Waterfall, and the hidden waterfall near Shizhangdong. The waterfall cascades down the cliffs, resembling a galloping horse. Its majestic force is so powerful that its thunderous roar resonates miles away. Mist permeates the area for hundreds of meters, creating a vibrant rainbow in the sunlight. Occasionally, you'll even see a wondrous "Buddha halo," a ring that follows each person, creating a breathtaking sight. The waterfall is surrounded by lush trees, ensuring year-round verdant scenery.
