As with many historical sites do you the services of an official tour guide.
Entry is 700rupee for foreigners.
One inside the grounds you go to an indoor museum. Here you will see the throne of the Maharajahs, their clothing, and many other items. The pictures of the Maharajahs through the years helps you to better understand who did what and when.
From this building you go back outside to another courtyard where you’ll find the 4 doors for each season, beautifully decorated.
The entrance to the current Palace is visible.
Partial wheelchair access available. Toilet facilities onsite.
