Complementing the amusement and recreational park of Ancol Dreamland, the beachfront Ancol Beach City mall provides a place to shop and dine and is Jakarta’s only mall overlooking a beach. The many restaurants available, just steps from the sand, make it a favourite for families and Jakarta weekenders. Shoppers are also treated to regular highlight events that are held on open stages on its ‘Carnaval Beach’, as well as a dedicated auditorium inside - the Mata Elang Internatoinal Stadium - which has hosted various concerts featuring international and national performers, from J-Lo to Taylor Swift.
