
Qingyun Lake Forest Park, located in the urban area of Duyun and to the east of Wenfeng Park, is an urban back garden that integrates forest landscape, water landscape, ethnic customs and other landscape resources. The park has a total area of 3,188 hectares and consists of three major scenic areas: Qingyun Lake, Shimen Lake and Luosihu Alpine Meadow. The forest coverage rate in the entire scenic area is over 90% .
The park boasts a vast area of natural secondary forest and a diverse array of species, including over a thousand vascular plant species. Evergreen broadleaf forests embellish peaks, ridges, and valleys, interspersed with rare plants and ancient trees. Wildflowers and wildflowers vie for attention, while autumn leaves create a picturesque haze, and in midwinter, the shrubs and branches of the trees shimmer translucently. It serves as Duyun's ring-shaped forest belt, green corridor, and natural lung.
The park is surrounded by streams and rivers, with various waterfalls and springs, and green mountains surrounding the lake, with endless waterscapes; the karst caves are stacked layer upon layer, with caves within caves, stalactites and stalagmites in various shapes and forms, and the peaks and ridges are strange, dangerous and magnificent; the astronomical landscape is distinctive, with the morning sun on the east mountain, wisps of clouds on the west peaks, the moon reflected in the flat lake, and autumn frost and winter snow, all forming a beautiful scene.
