Nagoya Travel Guide

Super useful guide to Nagoya after 3 visits❗️|||The blogger has been to Nagoya three times, landing at Chubu Centrair International Airport, the starting point of the Shoryudo, and an important gateway to Okuhida Onsen and Hokuriku for crab 🦀
This comprehensive guide covers shopping districts, city food, and surrounding travel routes. It's super useful, so give it a like and save it ⭐️
——Two major shopping districts in Nagoya——
1️⃣Nagoya Station p2
Near JR Station: Takashimaya (LV, Gucci, etc., tax-free on 1F)
Meitetsu/Kintetsu Station: Midland Square (Dior, LV, Loewe, many restaurants, the rooftop observatory is the best place to see the night view of Nagoya) Meitetsu Department Store: MUJI, outdoor goods, etc.
🏨Hotel recommendations: Nagoya Prince Hotel Sky Tower, Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier, Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya
2️⃣Sakae: The commercial area is basically south of Sakae Subway Station p3
Sunshine, Mitsukoshi, Lachic, Sakae Underground Shopping Mall, etc.
🏨Hotel recommendations: The Tower Hotel, Nishitetsu Hotel Croom, The Royal Park Hotel Iconic, Tiad
——City food——
🍜Ramen recommendations: Shishimaru, Ajisai, Mendoroguriko
🥩Pork cutlet: Katsuletu MATUMURA, Kurobuta-ya Ramuchi
🍖Izakaya/Yakitori: Koji MARUTANI, Uniyokocho, Musashi Oasis Kita
🍚Eel rice: Sumiyaki Unafuji, Atsuta Horaiken, Hitsumabushi Ichiyo, Hitsumabushi Hanaoka
Nagoya is an inland city, so the blogger has never eaten sushi here, don't ask!
——Surrounding attractions (three routes)——
1️⃣All the way north - Shoryudo
Gero + Takayama + Kanazawa or Toyama as the end point 🏁 Use Takayama as a transit station to go to Okuhida Onsen to soak in hot springs + Shirakawa-go, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The essence of this route is that you can soak in hot springs and see the ancient town of Takayama, and finally eat some seafood in Hokuriku! Highly recommended! For detailed guides, please refer to my previous notes
2️⃣Northwest direction - Castle fan
Inuyama Castle + Gifu Castle + Gujo Hachiman Castle + Kaga Onsen
A must for castle and castle town lovers, you can finally soak in the traditional famous hot spring - Kaga Onsen, or end in Kanazawa and return directly to Nagoya
The detailed guide to Kaga Onsen (Yamanaka Onsen and Yamashiro Onsen) will be posted by the blogger soon!
3️⃣Northeast direction - Nakasendo
Tsumago-juku and Magome-juku + Atera Valley + Hirugami Onsen + Lake Suwa + Matsumoto
A niche route themed on the post towns of the Edo period in Japan, with relatively complex transportation, and finally ending in Nagano Prefecture
