[Gwandeokjeong], a 15th century building that remains intact
It has been designated a treasure✨
It is the oldest and most valuable building in Jeju.
It was a military training ground for soldiers and a key location.
As you would expect from a training ground, the inside is spacious and wooden.
It has been beautifully restored and has vivid colors⭐️
There are no walls surrounding the building, but the eaves are 4.5 meters high, so it is protected from the wind and rain.
It was also used for meetings and examinations.
You can now take off your shoes and go inside.
The island's guardian deity, Dolharubang, made of volcanic rock, was made in the 18th century.
They stand beautifully, one on each side😊
It's easy to get to because it's along the main street in the center of the city, and the Jeju Mokgwana Site is next door, so I recommend visiting them together❤️
There are also many delicious restaurants nearby♪
📍Location: 19 Gwandeok-ro, Jeju-si, Jeju-do, Korea
🕰️Opening hours: 24 hours
💰Price per person: Free
