Jeju 3 Days Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Grabel Hotel and complete the check-in process. Take a leisurely stroll along the beach, then relax with an afternoon nap. Later, treat yourself to some delicious BHC chicken, just an 8-minute walk from the hotel. Must-taste flavors are; Machoking (마쵸킹) – A spicy and garlicky soy-based flavor with a crispy coating and Gold King (골드킹) – Sweet soy sauce flavor with a hint of garlic and honey.

Day 2: Morning: Depart from Grabel hotel to Jeju-si to Woljeong-ri
• Travel time: Driving is the fastest and most convenient option, taking about 35-40 minutes.
Mid-Morning: Explore Woljeong-ri Beach
• Highlights:
• Stroll along the pristine white sands and enjoy the turquoise waters.
• Capture photos of the iconic wind turbines dotting the coastline.
• Relax at one of the many beachfront cafes.
• Optional: Visit Big Hand Jeju, a nearby shop offering unique novelties and vintage items, including shell-made mobiles and music boxes. 

Lunch: Dine at Moumoon Cafe
• Location: 460 Haemajihaean-ro, Gujwa-eup, Jeju-si (2nd floor).
• Hours: 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM, open daily.
• Menu: Enjoy a variety of baked goods and beverages, with some items creatively themed to resemble the sea.
• Ambiance: The cafe offers a cozy atmosphere with sea views, perfect for a leisurely meal.  

Afternoon: Travel to Seongsan-ri in Seogwipo-sieju-si to Woljeong-ri.
• Travel Time: Approximately 50 minutes by car. Driving is the most efficient option.
• Tip: Ensure you have ample time to reach Seongsan-ri before sunset if you plan to visit Seongsan Ilchulbong.   

Late Afternoon: Visit Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak)
• Highlights:
• to the summit for panoramic views of the crater and coastline.
• Explore the surrounding area, including local shops and eateries.
• Note: While sunrise is the most popular time to visit, the peak offers stunning views at any time of day. 

Day 3: Morning
• 10:00 AM – Lunch at Japanese restaurant opposite Grabel Hotel
• 11:30 AM – Depart from Grabel Hotel
• Distance: ~42 km
• Travel Time: ~1 hour by car
• Transportation Options:
• Car: Most convenient. Scenic drive along the coast or through Mt. Hallasan.
• Taxi: Costs around 40,000–50,000 KRW.

12:30 AM – Arrive at Seogwipo Submarine Terminal
• Located near Cheonjiyeon Falls and the Saeseom Island bridge.
• Address: 40 Namseongjung-ro, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do

13:30 AM – Board the Submarine
• Book tickets in advance if possible (seogwipo-submarine.com)
• Tour Duration: ~45 minutes underwater
• Highlights:
• Explore Jeju’s underwater volcanic rock formations
• Spot marine life like damselfish, sea anemones, and even shipwrecks at 40m depth
• Commentary in Korean (but visuals are the main draw)

Feedback on Seogwipo Submarine

Pros:
• Unique experience (especially if you’ve never been in a submarine)
• Safe and family-friendly
• Great views of Jeju’s underwater world without getting wet if the weather condition is good
• Good for non-divers who want to see marine life

Cons:
• Commentary mostly in Korean (limited English)
• Can feel slightly cramped inside
• May be underwhelming if you’re a seasoned snorkeler/diver

• Sit near a window early for the best view
• Wear light clothing (air can get warm inside)
• Check weather and visibility before going—water clarity varies
