Bijarim is a forest of Japanese Torreya trees 🌲🌲 located in Pyeongdae-ri, on the eastern side of Jeju Island.
The forest is home to a total of 2,570 Japanese Torreya trees, estimated to be around 300 to 600 years old. Due to its vast size and high academic value, Bijarim has been designated and protected as a Natural Monument.
The walking trails include relatively flat paths as well as routes inaccessible to strollers or wheelchairs. Along the way, you'll find interesting spots like the 'Lightning-struck Tree' and designated 'Photo Zones.'
