Jeju Island's best latte spot, Bear Pine

I heard their lattes are so delicious. #BarePine

I discovered the cafe "BarePine" while I was working at a cafe in Jeju Island.
When I was first learning and practicing latte art, I used Instagram to find several baristas' accounts and practice my craft.
One of them was the barista who runs this place.

Actually, I'd always wanted to visit here when I was working and living in Jeju Island,
but it's relatively difficult to get to by foot (though it would have been possible if I had been diligent).
I made all sorts of excuses and didn't bother to visit. But this time, when I came down to Jeju Island,
"BarePine" was one of the cafes I absolutely had to visit.

The weather has been so chilly lately, I thought, "I absolutely have to have a warm latte if I go here!"
But it was 12 p.m., a hot day, and I ended up having a cold flat white, which made me a little chilly.

I'll definitely come back later when the weather is cold to check out the latte art and enjoy a warm latte.

Oh, for the cold flat white, I chose the "Gom" and "Sol" beans.
The "Gom" beans were a dark, highly roasted variety,
and had notes of nuts, caramel, and dark chocolate.
I personally think that coffee with milk pairs well with beans with a high roast level (dark, medium dark).

I plan to visit Jeju Island in every season—spring, summer, fall, and winter—and I think it'll be perfect for both the cold winter and the warm spring.
I'll have to come back again soon.
