The Hongshi Valley Scenic Area is located at the northern foot of the Dabie Mountains, within Jinzhai County, Lu'an. The scenic area covers 60 square kilometers and is home to the majestic Xianghongdian Reservoir, the largest of the five largest reservoirs in western Anhui. The scenic area comprises three parts: the Hongshi Valley National Geopark, the Jiangjun Lake Water Leisure and Sightseeing Resort, and the Lu'an Guapian Tea Garden. The Hongshi Valley National Geopark, nestled amidst the mountains and boasting unique canyon formations, forms a natural geological tourist corridor. The Jiangjun Lake Water Leisure and Sightseeing Resort, with its vast, dreamlike beauty, showcases the breathtaking scenery of high gorges and flat lakes. The Hongshi Valley Scenic Area covers an area of ​​80 square kilometers, with mountains and canyons as the main features. The highest peak, Qishan (Qitoushan), is 804 meters high. It consists of three major sections: Hongshi Valley National Geopark, Xianghongdian Reservoir (Jiangjun Lake), and the Ecological Tourism Park of the Origin of "Lu'an Guapian", one of China's top ten famous teas.
