Located near Seogwipo Jungmun Tourist Complex, Jungmunjeong is a popular spot for both locals and travelers, offering a hearty grilled fish set meal in the morning. The clean and neat interior makes it a perfect spot for families or travelers seeking a quick breakfast. This time, I ordered grilled cutlassfish and tilefish. All three were tender and light, with no fishy smell. The cutlassfish had just the right amount of fat, creating a rich flavor, while the tilefish was firm yet subtly sweet, offering a unique flavor. The stone pot rice and generous side dishes provided a homey, comforting meal, and the meal was rounded off with a hearty bowl of sungnyung (sungnyung), a hearty soup. It's the perfect place to start your trip with a hearty breakfast.
