Sangtubong Mountain

#summervacay Okay, Sangtubong Mountain… I didn’t expect this little adventure to slap so hard. It’s tucked near the coast in Jeollanam-do and gives you this wild combo of mountain AND ocean views, like, pick a lane, nature, or don’t. I’m not complaining.

The hike? Oh yeah, it gets real. It starts off chill, then suddenly you’re climbing stairs like you're in some action movie training montage. My legs were definitely questioning my life choices, but every time I stopped to breathe (read: dramatically gasp), the views made it 100% worth it.

At the top? Boom. Mountains, sea, and that "I did something cool" energy. You can see islands in the distance and feel the wind slap your face in the best way.

Not too crowded, which was a huge win. Just me, a few other sweaty legends, and some really loud birds.

Would I do it again? Yes, but next time with snacks, more water, and maybe a walking stick. 10/10, would sweat for the view again.
