TOP SPOTS TO VISIT:
1. Old City, Jerusalem (Open 24/7, Jerusalem): Walk these ancient streets and explore its history
Tip: Temple Mount has specific access for non-Muslims in the mornings (Sun–Thu), so check latest times before you go.
2. Bat Yam Beach: Gentle waves and great breeze. There are some areas with fitness equipment which you can use for workouts along the beach.
GETTING AROUND:
Use Moovit to understand the buses and trains to take, and get a rav kard to pay for buses/trains. You can top up your rav kard at some super pharm shops.
EATS:
Definitely try Falafel and Shawarma!
KEY TIPS:
- Dress modestly for Temple Mount and Western Wall. Shoulders and knees covered!
- Old City steps can be slippery — hold on to grab bars if available for steps / stairs
- Comfy shoes are a must - there is a lot of walking
