Anyone who doesn't read this article about Jiangxi during the May Day holiday will make me sad, OK

#chinatravel Huangling Village is like a postcard that came to life. I went there on a whim and ended up spending the whole day just wandering around and vibing. It’s this little mountain village where they dry stuff like chilies, corn, and herbs on big round baskets out in the sun and it looks so cool from above. Like Insta gold.
The whole place is built into the hillside so you’re climbing a lot but the views are totally worth it. Every turn has another photo spot with those classic white walled houses and curved black rooftops. Super aesthetic.
There’s a cable car if you’re feeling lazy but walking is half the fun. Locals were sweet and chill, some even let me peek into their homes while they were prepping food or drying stuff. Plus the snacks in the village were actually fire. I had this sticky rice thing that slapped.
It’s not crowded either so you can really take your time. 10 outta 10 would wander again.
