I have to say, Jiangyin Fortress Forest Park is perfect for relaxing hikes. The park is nestled by the mountains and water, with a very high vegetation coverage. Walking on the stone paths, you’re surrounded by greenery and may even spot some cute little squirrels🐿️

🎡 Things to do:
1. On clear days, you can see boats passing on the Yangtze River, which is very soothing
2. This was a military fortress during the Ming and Qing dynasties; you can still see the remains of old cannon platforms on the brick walls
3. The wooden boardwalk offers stunning scenery along the way. Wear a light-colored dress and a straw hat for some forest-style photoshoots (P.S. there are quite a few mosquitoes, so remember to bring insect repellent spray)
4. Watching the sunset here in the evening is absolutely amazing💫
