Jianshui Tingziyun Resort Hotel

The hotel was originally the "Huang Jin Residence" built by a wealthy merchant named Huang Jin in Jianshui Ancient City a century ago. The designer restored the original architectural style. After the restoration and renovation of the entire old house, the heritage is still there. The vicissitudes and heaviness of the gate show the heritage of the old house and the traces of time.
Entering the hotel from the gate, you first pass through a bamboo corridor, which is beautiful and tranquil. The check-in area is exquisite, and hot tea, desserts, and hot towels are provided. All guests don't have to worry about carrying too much luggage, as there is a free pick-up and drop-off service. Sometimes the general manager will personally pick up guests at Jianshui Station. From arriving at Jianshui to checking in and entering the room, the service is very nice.
The hotel has 21 antique-style guest rooms, as well as a ceramic experience hall, a study, and a meditation room. The interior of the guest rooms is simple and elegant, with fresh flowers, tea, and tea sets in each room, and ancient well water is supplied daily. The hardware is of a star hotel standard, with Dyson hair dryers, L'Occitane toiletries, and Yunnan Baiyao toothpaste. Other items such as mouthwash and laundry detergent are also provided. In addition, there is a portable bag in the closet, which contains water, wet wipes, and a women's sun hat, which is convenient for going out. The bedside table storage box contains charging cables, nail clippers, earplugs, dental floss, cotton swabs, and power banks. Everything is well thought out.
The guest rooms do not have a mini bar like traditional hotels, but you can take drinks, fruits, and sweets from the restaurant. If you want to drink or eat something when you go out to visit Jianshui Ancient City or come back from outside, you can eat for free in the restaurant. I personally think this is more friendly and sincere than a free mini bar.
It is worth mentioning that all guests have a free afternoon tea and grilled tofu set in the evening, which is delicious and exquisite. I personally recommend trying the grilled tofu, which includes Jianshui tofu, beef, vegetables, etc. For guests who don't eat much for dinner, this grilled tofu set is enough to fill their stomachs. If you can't control the heat, the waiter will help you grill it.
The hotel is located in Jianshui Ancient City, and you can explore Jianshui Ancient City when you go out. Attractions such as Zhu Family Garden, Confucian Temple, Lin'an Mansion, Xuezheng Examination Hall, and Chaoyang Tower are all within walking distance. If you are tired of visiting the ancient city, you can return to the hotel to rest at any time. Each courtyard of the hotel has an independent rest area, where you can make tea and enjoy a leisurely time.
