|Lafa Mountain: Encounter a Romantic Sea of Clouds. Lafa Mountain in Jiaohe, Jilin, is part of the Weihu Ridge of the Changbai Mountains, with a main peak of 886.2 meters above sea level. "Lafa" is a transliteration of the Manchu word "Lafu," meaning "bear." The mountain was once home to many bears, and its jagged peaks are close to the Lafa River, hence the name Lafa Mountain.

‌Opening Hours‌: Open all year round, 7:30 am–7:00 pm daily, with ticket sales ending at 3:30 pm. It is recommended to visit between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, when the sun is shining, the temperature is pleasant, and there are relatively few visitors.‌
‌Travel Route‌: You can enter from the‌ east gate and walk up the trail to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. If you have the stamina, you can choose to hike or take the cable car (the cable car costs about RMB 40 per person).
‌Photography Tips‌: Chuanchong Cave, Xuanyang Cave, and other places are great for taking photos, especially in autumn when the red leaves and stalactites in the caves make for great photo opportunities.‌
