The first time I went to Xitang was in 2011. I went alone from Wuhu to Suzhou Shantang Street to Liuyuan Garden to Tiger Hill to Xitang to Hangzhou.

1⃣Happy Sheep Village
🌈Play experience: It is very suitable for young babies. The Sheep Village Park is colorful and very photogenic. Most of the play projects are based on climbing, slides, trampolines, etc. The park is small, but the children have a good play experience and have a lot of fun.

Jay Chou's blue and white porcelain is a perfect match for Xitang, with pink walls, black tiles, small bridges, flowing water, and reflections of tiled houses.

3⃣About accommodation
🏨 The car was parked in the second parking lot and it took about five minutes to walk to Chengshang Shijia. This is a Hui style hotel with an elegant and comfortable environment. It is very convenient in the scenic area. There is also a courtyard with a small bridge and flowing water. You can watch flowers and taste tea. I love it.

4⃣【Some hidden delicacies in Xitang】
✅Yulouchun Wolongqiao Store: A store along the river with a strong ancient town style. You can eat while enjoying the scenery. The dishes are delicious and inexpensive. I especially like the rice wine balls. My baby keeps eating them.
✅Yulouchun Antaiqiao Store: It’s really great, group buying is super cost-effective, 50+ per person, and I can’t finish it at all. The most amazing thing is the squirrel fish, which is so delicious that it has no friends.

📝Intimate tips:
✅Try not to come to Xitang on statutory holidays, there are too many people
✅Baby strollers can be pushed in the ancient town, but they must be carried as there are many bridges; try not to bring strollers in when there are many people
✅The cherry blossom season in Xitang is in late March and early April. If you want to see the cherry blossoms, please arrange your schedule in advance.
✅There are two types of tickets for the scenic spot: before 2pm and after 2pm. Tickets after 2pm can still be used the next day
✅Xitang holds a Hanfu Festival every year, which is usually held from the end of October to the beginning of November every year
