⭐️Wulongtan - Baotu Spring - Quancheng Square - Heihu Spring - Liberation Pavilion - Kuanhouli
✨Wulongtan is a free alternative to Baotu Spring. The security guard is very welcoming. As soon as you enter, you'll see five dragons spouting water. It's a great place for a stroll, with fresh air and a beautiful environment. In Jinan, all the spring water is crystal clear, and the fish swimming in it are large and plump.
✨At noon, we went to Chunshui Guoztie for lunch. It was very crowded, and we waited a long time for a table. Eventually, we went early. Every pot sticker was delicious, even the vegetarian ones. Their "Milk Soup Family Combo" is a must-try, packed with ingredients, including sea cucumber.
✨After lunch, we went to Baotu Spring. The entrance fee is 40 yuan. It's a place with a rich history, allowing you to experience the Jinan described by Lao She. The style is similar to Wulongtan. The main attraction is the three springheads. The water is truly clear, and you can see the inscription by Emperor Qianlong.
✨Across from Baotu Spring is Quancheng Square. Taking a three-stop bus ride from Baotu Spring, we arrived at Heihu Spring. Many locals were collecting water to take home to drink, and we also filled a bucket, haha.
✨The Liberation Pavilion is next to Heihu Spring, but entry is not allowed after 4:30 pm. Kuanhouli is also a food street, perfect for a casual stroll.
✨My two days in Jinan left me with the impression that it's a city full of spirit. Everyone addresses you as "laoshi'er" (teacher), especially the elderly. There's a scholarly atmosphere, a gentle and refined feeling, and great politeness. It's a city with a rich history, nurturing a city of cultured people.
