Transportation Guide

- High-speed Rail: Take the train to Hengshan West Railway Station. After exiting the station, it takes about 15 minutes by taxi to reach Nanyueli.

- By Car: Navigate to Nanyueli Temple Fair Cultural Food Street. If you arrive early, you can park on the roadside. If you arrive late, you will need to park in a paid parking lot, such as the Nanyueli Parking Lot.

- Bus: There is a special tourist line from Hengyang city to Nanyueli. You can get off at the Nanyueli East Gate Station.

Visiting Time

- Weekdays: 9-10:30 pm. At this time, the lantern show is nearing its end, with fewer people and beautiful scenery, suitable for quietly enjoying the colored lights.

Food Recommendations

- Snacks: There are more than 100 kinds of Hengyang specialty snacks in the scenic area, such as stewed rice noodles, fried tofu, braised food, small potatoes, etc., with prices mostly in single digits.

- Restaurants: There are restaurants with unique Hengyang flavors, offering set meals and buffets, suitable for family gatherings or team building.

Other Notes

- There is a large temperature difference between day and night in Nanyue, so remember to bring a jacket.

- Most snack stalls in the scenic area open around 10:30 am and close around 10:30 pm. The lights are turned off at 12:00 am.

- If you come in the afternoon, try to arrive around 5 pm to avoid difficulty finding a parking space later. After 10 pm, there are fewer people, which is suitable for taking photos.

- There is no entrance fee for the scenic area, and there is no charge for watching the shows. No reservation is required.

- Weekends and Holidays: Enter the park in advance between 5-7 pm to avoid peak crowds and enjoy both daytime and nighttime scenery.
