Located in Jining, Shandong,
the temple grounds feature the Daxiong Hall, Thousand Buddha Hall, Pagoda Forest (featured in the game "Black Myth: Wukong"), Pizhi Pagoda, Five-Step Three-Spring, Thousand-Year-Old Ginkgo Tree, Ksitigarbha Hall, and persimmon trees.
Burning incense is permitted within the temple; incense can be purchased either outside or inside the temple grounds. Lingyan Temple is located approximately 50 km from downtown Jinan. Driving or taking a dedicated tourist bus is recommended. There is a parking lot outside the temple.
Tanyuan, located outside the temple gate, offers a simple noodle restaurant where you can dine.
Inside the temple, there is also a tea house where you can rest and enjoy tea. Autumn is the most beautiful time to visit Lingyan Temple, when the ancient ginkgo trees turn golden and their leaves fall.
