I've arrived at Jinan's "Little Xinjiang"! Hiking and breathtaking scenery.

I've hiked many mountains in Jinan, and my favorite used to be the Longdong Zanglongjian Scenic Area. A few days ago, I discovered this hidden gem: Yeyuding and Huluding!
It's right across from Muniushan Park. I think, at least for women, it's the ultimate hiking experience. The entire trail is paved with stone slabs, the steps are wide and not too high, making it incredibly easy to climb. And the scenery is absolutely stunning! Along the way, we were constantly exclaiming, "Wow! So beautiful! Oh my god, this is amazing!" This place is truly exceptional.
Here are the directions: Navigate to Fudi Street and drive straight to the end. It intersects with Hongshan Road. Don't worry, ladies, it's easy to find. Fudi Street is a short road, and it only takes about 2 minutes to drive to the end. There are some open spaces on the roadside where you can park. (If you're taking a taxi, just tell the driver to go to the end of Fudi Street. I'm not sure about the bus routes, so you can check those yourself.)
After parking, you'll see some residential areas to the south. The mountain trail is right across from them. Important note: Don't follow the dirt slope upwards. We made that mistake the first time, and it's not the right way. The actual entrance is right by the road, easy to spot. There's a large sign for the scenic area. To the left of the sign, you'll see stone steps. Follow those steps, and you're on the right track. (Sorry, I forgot to take a picture here. Just remember, it's stone steps, not a dirt path. The path is well-maintained and easy to walk, with some paved sections as well. The scenery is beautiful every step of the way. We took our time and reached the top in about half an hour. There are signs at the summit indicating different directions. We went towards Yeyuding on the right, where the boardwalk is.) As soon as we stepped onto the boardwalk, wow! The view opened up before us! Rolling mountains, lush greenery everywhere. Muniushan Park is right across, visible in the distance. The grassy areas in the photos are there, large and beautiful. We went on a drizzly day, and the light rain on our faces felt so refreshing. The cloudy sky added to the beauty. It would probably be sunny and hot on a clear day, but the sunset must be amazing. Since heavy rain was forecast, we didn't cross over the mountain and returned the same way. We've already made plans to go back when we have time. It's truly a healing experience.
Beautiful scenery, few people. I didn't see any trash cans on the mountain, so bring your own trash bags. And bring plenty of water to stay hydrated. Although the hike isn't too strenuous, I was sweating the whole time.
If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment. I'll reply when I see it. Thanks for your interest! May we all climb mountains and become better versions of ourselves.
