Shixiu Mountain is located east of Daliu Village, Guyunhu Street, Changqing District, Jinan. It is a scenic spot that combines natural beauty with cultural heritage. Here is a travel guide:
Transportation Guide
It is recommended to drive there and navigate directly to "Shixiu Mountain Park." Vehicles can reach the parking lot halfway up the mountain, but there is a short steep slope, so please drive carefully.
Attractions Introduction
• Shixiu Scholar Rock: Shixiu Mountain is also called "Ten Scholars Mountain" because of a cluster of rocks on the mountain that resemble an old gentleman holding poetry and scripture, teaching several students opposite him. It is full of cultural significance.
• Xiushan Spring: Nestled among the mountains, the spring water gushes from the canyon between two mountains, flows through the village stream, and enters the Zhongchuan River to the west. The spring water is clear and the scenery is pleasant.
• Northern Song Dynasty Cliff Inscriptions: The mountain features cliff inscriptions from the Northern Song Dynasty, such as the "Yanchuan Drunken Immortal" statue. The carvings are exquisite, lifelike, and hold high artistic and historical cultural value.
• Viewing Pavilion: A viewing pavilion is built at the mountain top. To the east, you can watch the sunrise; to the west, you can see Guyun Lake. You can also overlook the bustling scenes of the Jinpu Railway, National Highway 104, and the Jingtai Expressway, as well as the spectacular sight of the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway passing through the mountain tunnel.
