China's Antelope Canyon, WOW!

The wave valley. The red sandstone formations, with their intricate patters and layers are a breathtaking sight not to be missed against the wind turbines background. There is a small red river running through it but the red formations glowing above you in the summer sun are more like a sea of magma.
🚕 2 hours drive from Yulin following the G65 south then the G20 west, it is very well signposted from there, the drive itself is beautiful and you will also be able to visit great wall ruins on your way back to the G307 when you leave 🛣🏯. There is car park available.
🎟entrance fee is 90RMB or 140 if you wish to cross the glass bridge (recommended). From there you hike down to the canyon, ensure to follow the signs to all the hidden spots as these are the natural narrow passages that give the beautiful photo opportunities, the paths are very narrow. the total hike takes about 3 hours, it does take a level of fitness but slow and steady does it, lots of stairs. cover up well on sunny days, there are plenty of places to purchase drinks and snacks.
I found the foot (step to heaven) a turtle shell and rhino among the sandstone outlines (see pictures). Can you spot them too when you visit? 😄📸#roadtrip #chinatravel #breathtakingviews #awesomepic #summervacation
