Visit to Xi'an is incomplete if you do not visit Yan'an!

Yan'an is about 2.5hr train ride from Xi'an. While the city may be famous for being the centre of Sino-Japanese war and Civil war, it is actually home to many beautiful natural landscapes. If you wish to visit areas less touristy, then Yan'an should definitely be on your itinerary!

One can book a car or join a 3-day local tour. These tours would cover the Ganquan Grand Canyon, Wave Valley, Qiankun Bay and the Yellow River Hukou Waterfall.

Wave Valley is a huge nature park so do bring along water, cap and be prepared to clock steps! 🚶😄
