This is a large specialized ceramic art museum, housing famous ceramic works from various historical periods since the Neolithic era, including the Han and Tang dynasties. The collection includes blue and white porcelain, multicolored ceramics, famille rose, plates, cups, saucers, pots, vases, and more, all displayed according to different categories in terms of decoration, craftsmanship, and shape.
Modern and contemporary Jingdezhen ceramic masterpieces are unique to the Jingdezhen Ceramic Museum. The entire city of Jingdezhen is rich in ceramic culture, including the recently popular Silent Buddha series online, featuring meditative arhats and tiger-taming arhats from the Republic of China period. These exhibits are located on the sixth floor of the museum, the most popular area, where you may need to queue for a long time to see them up close. Last time, we waited for about half an hour.
If the queue is too long, it is recommended to visit other exhibits, as the museum has many other exquisite and valuable collections worth seeing.
