With its Japanese-style courtyard and natural wood furniture, the homestay embraces a wabi-sabi aesthetic, transporting guests to a Kyoto-like ambiance. Some online reviewers even claimed they would visit Jingdezhen just for this homestay. The Mountain Retreat is divided into two areas: Jielu and Dongliyuan. Jielu offers independent villas, while Dongliyuan features a new Chinese style. Room rates are close to a thousand yuan on weekdays, and rooms are often fully booked during holidays.
