Entering the Yangling Mausoleum Museum of Emperor Jing of Han, my pace involuntarily slows. The low-lying tomb nestles quietly in the plains, lacking in outward grandeur but possessing a restrained solemnity. Inside, unearthed artifacts and lifelike pottery figurines, some riding horses, some standing at attention, evoke scenes from thousands of years ago.
The design of Yangling Mausoleum emphasizes "sharing joy with the people," employing a simple yet unostentatious aesthetic. This ancient philosophy invites reflection on the relationship between emperor and common people. Standing on the mausoleum grounds, watching the wind sweep through the weeds, one can almost hear the whispers of history. Yangling Mausoleum is a long, silent poem, capturing the wisdom and humility of the Han Dynasty.
