Jinxiu Dayao Mountain Chongyang Kite Flying Festival Begins

From October 29 to November 2, 2025, the Chongyang Kite Flying and Climbing Festival at Panwangjie, Jinxiu Dayao Mountain, Guangxi will kick off a 5-day celebration. From October 26 to November 2, residents of Laibin and Liuzhou can enjoy a special half-price Chongyang ticket for 145 yuan. The event features spectacular highlights, including a giant kite feast with a two-story wingspan super kite, a 100-meter+ aerial dragon, a 10-meter+ giant soft kite, and daily aerial ballet kite performances at the Visitor Center from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The Yao Mountain Blessing Ceremony is also unique, held daily from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the cable car upper station, where visitors can freely wear cornelian flowers for health blessings, participate in the pitch-pot game to win Panwang coins for gifts, challenge the Knife Mountain series blessing belt to overcome difficulties and enjoy longevity, and take part in the Master’s Three Bows ritual. The Chrysanthemum Tea Banquet and Yao Ethnic Style Show are equally exciting, held daily from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Panwang Camp, with 20 people per session lasting 15 minutes.
