Discover Lishui – It Became My Favorite City at First Sight!

Nestled in southern Zhejiang, Lishui is a natural oxygen bar where mountains and rivers intertwine like a living painting. A gift from nature, it’s also a favored filming location for movies and TV shows. Songyang County, in particular, was hailed by *National Geographic* as "The Last Secret Land of Jiangnan."

**Transport Tips**
Renting a car is highly recommended. We took the high-speed train to *Lishui Station* and rented a car afterward—this made our trip incredibly convenient.

**Attraction Highlights**

**Xiandu Scenic Area – Zhutan Mountain**
A landmark of Lishui, famous for the iconic "Old Man Herding Cattle" bridge scene. Free performances are held on weekends; on weekdays, a fee applies to stage the scene for photos.

**Yandang Study**
A unique "library" inside a cave, complete with Himalaya audiobooks and a café. Sunlight filtering through the cliffs creates mesmerizing light and shadow effects—perfect for photos.

**Yandang No. 2 Grotto**
Adjacent to Yandang Study, this is the "Green Fairyland" spot where actress Ni Ni took photos. Wearing white outfits enhances the visual appeal.

**Guyanyan Painting Village**
Split into two areas: "Guyan" (Yantou Village on the north bank) features ancient camphor trees over 1,000 years old, while "Painting Village" (Dagangtou Town on the south bank) is a riverside Jiangnan ancient town ideal for sketching and photography.

**Yangjiatang Village – Songzhuang Village – Chenjiapeng Village**
Three famed ancient villages in Songyang.
- **Yangjiatang**: Dubbed the "Golden Potala Palace," with a iconic couple tree at the entrance.
- **Songzhuang**: A stream runs through the village—great for summer water play and photos on the ancient bridge.
- **Chenjiapeng**: Home to Pioneer Bookstore and *Flying Birds Collection* B&B. Sip coffee and stroll to soak in the tranquility.

**Songyang Old Town**
A charming ancient street in the county center. Visit at night to enjoy top-rated local eateries and street food.

**Yunhe Terraces**
Comprising "Silver Valley" and "Jiuyunhuan."
- **Day 3**: Explore Qixingdun and Kenggen Stone Village in Silver Valley.
- **Day 4**: Catch the sunrise over sea of clouds and terraces at Jiuyunhuan.

**Shisi Temple**
A 1,000-year-old temple shrouded in greenery and moss, exuding a mystical, timeless aura.

**Xuehuaji Waterfall**
A 1km hike from Shisi Temple. The waterfall is most majestic after rain—ideal for hiking and reconnecting with nature.
