48 Hours in JB: Weekend Escape to Feast & Adrenaline

#favouriteitinerary #travelanywhere Our JB Weekend Getaway: A Quick Escape

JB was calling, and we answered with a quick 2D1N trip. It was a good mix of exploring the food scene, having some laughs, and just getting away for a bit. Here's the lowdown:

Day 1: Food & Fun

Eating Our Way Through JB:

- Johor Jaya Family Foodcourt: First stop, food! We dove into the local scene with wanton mee, herbal chicken, BBQ wings, and satay. A solid start to the trip.

- Powertea (Mount Austin): Lok lok was a must. Dipping all those different skewers in the broth was a fun, casual dinner.

- Four Beans: Shaved ice to cool down after all that food. Simple and refreshing.
Game On:

- Daiman Bowl: Bowling was a good way to burn off some calories and have some laughs. A little friendly competition never hurts.

Day 2: Exploring & Excitement

Brunch & Browsing:

- The Founders Cafe: A chill brunch spot. The food was good, and it was a nice place to relax before hitting the shops.
- Ecospring: We wandered around Ecospring for a bit. A change of pace from the usual malls, and we found a few interesting things. Yogurt drinks from Riceboy Yogurt were a welcome treat.
- Paradigm Mall: Of course, we had to do some shopping. A good mix of stores, and we managed to find a few things we liked.

More Food & a Thrill:

- Local Chinese Coffeeshop: We stumbled on this place and had some great pork noodles. Sometimes the best meals are the ones you don't plan.
- Stars Archery (Paradigm Mall): Archery was surprisingly fun. A good way to try something new and a bit different.
- Angsana Go-kart Johor Bahru: Go-karting was the perfect way to end the trip. A bit of adrenaline before heading back.

All in all, a good quick getaway. JB, we'll be back.
