The Blue Lake in Kangkar Pulai, Johor, is a hidden gem for photography and scenic views. Visiting early in the morning with friends, we awaited the sunrise. The lake remained as still as a mirror, while the sky gradually tinged with golden and orange, reflected in the azure waters. The scene was picturesque. Chatting with friends, we adjusted our cameras, capturing the changing light and shadows, a scene filled with anticipation and romance. As the sun rose, its warm glow bathed the lake, and the moments spent admiring it side by side with friends became unforgettable memories. This spot is not only perfect for photography, but also a great place to bond and share the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

By car: From downtown Johor Bahru, take the Skudai-Pontian Highway, approximately 30 minutes to the entrance of the Kangkar Pulai Blue Lake.

Suggested time: Start before dawn to capture the sunrise.
