Background
Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru is a mid-scale, design-led hotel residence in Bukit Chagar, downtown Johor Bahru, offering 315-316 rooms/studios and one-bedroom apartments.  It’s inside Menara Tiga Serangkai on Jalan Tengku Azizah.  The location is excellent: walking distance to City Square Mall, KOMTAR JBCC, R&F Mall, and heritage streets like Jalan Tan Hiok Nee; very near JB Sentral for transport connections. 

Why It’s Worth Visiting
You get a lot of conveniences in one place: there’s a 24/7 fully-equipped gym, a large outdoor swimming pool with an adjacent children’s wading pool, and a 24/7 launderette “Spin & Play” which offers interactive games while you wait.  The rooms are well appointed, many with in-room kitchenettes so you can self-cater a bit, which is great for longer stays.  For meals, there’s the restaurant Caprilicious (all-day dining) and Delite – a grab & go deli.  It’s also friendly for meetings & events: they have “The Pods,” meeting/banquet spaces that can handle small to mid-scale events (from ~18 up to ~250 people). 

My Impression
Staying at Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru feels smart, efficient and pleasant. What I appreciated was how the place balances location + amenity: you’re close to food, shopping, culture, transport; yet inside the hotel things are calm, modern, with nice touches (kitchenette, games in the launderette, comfy gym). The pool is a welcome relief in the heat. It’s not ultra-luxury, but it doesn’t try to be — it delivers above expectations for what it promises. Good for city stays, for business, or for exploring JB without wanting to always eat out or rush.
