It’s been such a long time since we last do staycay at Johor. All thanks to Trip.com promotion and trip coins, we managed to get a night at Grand Paragon Hotel JB at only S$35 with an upgrade to a deluxe room including buffet breakfast. Fantastic great deal! 🤩

Location is very convenient and accessible from CIQ. We took bus F100 from JB Sentral bus terminal and got off at the 5th stop, right in front of the hotel for just RM1.50.

We arrived at the hotel just before 3pm and the room is ready. Was prepared for an average room but we were pleasantly surprised. The room is very clean and fresh. There’s also a bathtub which looks clean too. Water pressure is good with non-stop hot water. The water closet pump works well too. All the horror stories about the hotel’s room cleanliness were unfounded. However the tv wasn’t working but when we are back at night after our shopping trip at the nearby KSL, all the tv channels were working well. We can even received the Singapore tv channels.

We were given a room with a nice unblocked view of the estate. Quite happy with the floor-to-ceiling window giving the room a very spacious feel.

KSL Mall is just 1 bus stop away but we just take a walk, a short 10 mins only.

This is really a super value for money stay and they definitely deserves 5-stars at this rate. Will definitely be back soon with trip.com next promotion.
