You'll Fall in Love with This Garden Hotel in Kaifeng as Soon as You Check In

It's not hard to choose a hotel when visiting Kaifeng, because there's only one well-known hotel locally, and it's definitely worth the experience!

🏨 Pullman Kaifeng Jianye Hotel
The hotel is located in the center of the ancient city of Kaifeng, the ancient capital of the Northern Song Dynasty, next to the Longting Park of the Song Dynasty Imperial City. It is within walking distance of Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden and Wansui Mountain Martial Arts City, making it very convenient to stay here.

🎨 Design
Designed by Mr. Lim Hong Lian of Singapore's LTW Design Company, it perfectly integrates Northern Song Dynasty elements with postmodern architectural styles. The lobby is stunning, with an art wall of Longting Palace made of 30,000 mother-of-pearl buttons, and a celadon porcelain reception desk. The sunken building is combined with the surrounding wetland landscape, with purple February orchids, crabapples, papaya trees, trumpet flowers... Walking in the hotel, there is a view at every step, full of Song Dynasty elegance.

🛏 Rooms
The room I stayed in was a Lake View Executive King Room, which was very spacious at 70 square meters.
A rich welcome fruit + dessert platter is provided upon check-in.
The cloakroom, toilet, bathroom, and living room are connected by sliding doors and are independent of each other.
The sunken bathtub in the room is very large, and it is very pleasant to take a bath at night.
The window-side couch is my favorite place to sit, watch TV, and relax.
It would be even more pleasant if it rains, watching the rain dripping outside the window.
Outside the window is a private outdoor tea seat where you can enjoy the fresh nature in the bright sunshine.
You can walk directly from the tea seat to the lake, and the Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden is just across the way.
You can rent the hotel's mountain bike to ride around the park for CNY 10 per hour.
