Cafe Yoridokoro is famous for its dried fish and raw egg rice, located a 3-minute walk from Inamuragasaki Station on the Enoshima Electric Railway.

It is a restaurant that does not accept reservations, and you can see a line in front of the restaurant when you get close.

When I went there, they asked me my name and the menu, and said, "I will call you in 45 to 60 minutes, so please come back."

They asked me to come back about 15 minutes after the call, but they said it was okay to be a little late if I didn't mind being out of line!

I ordered a mackerel mirin set meal with an extra topping of special eggs.

When I sat down, the egg for the raw egg rice that I ordered arrived first.

The system is that you whip your own meringue before the set meal arrives.

There is a paper on the table with tips on how to make meringue, so you can make it by looking at it.

When the set meal arrives, you put meringue and egg on top of the rice, choose your favorite from two types of soy sauce, and put the egg on rice.

It had a strange texture and was very delicious!

The dried fish is made by carefully selecting fish from all over the country and preparing it in their own factory in Nishiizu using spring water from the Amagi Plateau. They always dry it in the sun, not by machine, so it has a natural umami and sweetness!

Needless to say, the fish was incredibly delicious.

If you're lucky, you'll be guided to a counter seat right in front of the train tracks.
The Enoshima Electric Railway runs right in front of you, so it's sure to look great in photos.

Breakfast is available for the first 50 people until 9am, but it starts to get a little quieter after 9am, so the recommended time is before lunch.
