🌸 Kamakura Hydrangea Guide - A Must-See in June! 🌸

#cherryblossom25
If you’re planning a trip to Japan in June, Kamakura’s hydrangeas should be on your list! I’ve gathered all the info from my visit last year to help you enjoy these stunning blooms. 📅

Flower Blooming Status: Overall, the flowers were in good condition, but mid-to-late June will be even better for peak blooms! 🌺

Flower Viewing Plan
Kamakura is famous for its hydrangea-filled temples, with Hasedera Temple and Meigetsu-in Temple being the most popular and crowded. So, here’s my strategy:
Early Morning: Start with Hasedera Temple (because it can get crowded later).
Late Evening: End at Meigetsu-in Temple. This timing worked perfectly for me! 🌄
My Suggested Flower Viewing Route (Feel free to copy it!)
Chugoryo Shrine
Location: Near Enoden Train and hydrangea spot.
A small shrine with beautiful flowers at the entrance, and you can capture the hydrangeas along with the Enoden Train passing by.
Free entry, and it's very close to Hasedera Temple, making it perfect for an easy morning walk. 🚶♀️
