Introducing Huaqiao University

Huaqiao University is directly under the leadership of the Central United Front Work Department. It was established with the personal approval of Premier Zhou Enlai and is the first higher education institution in China named after “overseas Chinese”. It is a comprehensive university jointly built by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, Fujian Province, Quanzhou City, and Xiamen City.
