Kamakura｜Brilliant Japanese hamburger in Kamakura

Kamakura Rokuyata is a must-try spot in Kamakura — the food is excellent! It gets really crowded during lunchtime, so it’s best to avoid the rush and go around 1 or 2 PM. Just be aware that they do close for a lunch break, so don’t go too late.


The menu is simple, mainly hamburger steak and rice combos, but the portions are just right — filling, but not overly heavy. The hamburger steak is freshly grilled, flavorful and not greasy, and the rice has a subtle sweetness that pairs perfectly with it. You can adjust the soy sauce to your taste, and the tofu is soft and silky — really delicious!
