
Danshan Chishui is a scenic spot located in Shilin Village, Dalan Town, Yuyao City, Ningbo. It is 45 kilometers away from the urban area of Yuyao City. The scenic area covers an area of 6.05 square kilometers. It is based on the canyon landscape, with Taoist culture and the customs of the ancient mountain villages in eastern Zhejiang as its cultural connotation. It is a scenic spot characterized by cliffs, strange rocks, ancient bridges, flowing streams and waterfalls.
The area is awash in picturesque scenery, with towering peaks, towering ancient trees, bamboo trees shading the sun, and gurgling streams. Shilin Village is the base camp for Danshan Chishui's food and accommodations, where visitors typically eat and sleep, hike across the stream, and even go rafting in the summer.
Summer and autumn are the best times to visit Danshan Chishui. In summer, you can experience rafting; in autumn, not only are the mountains covered with red leaves, but it is also a good time to eat persimmons. Many tourists will drive here at this time to experience the fun of farming.
The scenic area consists of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Danshan" represented by Danshan Chishui, Yingyan Dongtian, Lion King Enlightenment, Danpu Feishui, Bagua Fairy Terrace, Immortal Pointing the Way, Qiushui Changtan, and Siming Taoist Temple, as well as more than 30 other attractions.
