Year-end Errand Trip on the Keikyu Line 🎍 From a Florist in Zushi-Hayama to Toshimaya Main Store in Kamakura
I set off on my year-end errand trip.
I started at Keikyu Zushi-Hayama Station. There was a local florist in front of the station, where I purchased New Year's decorations to welcome the new year. The red of the bamboo, pine, and mizuhiki strings stood out beautifully. Even though they were small decorations, just carrying them around instantly put me in New Year's mode.
After that, I took the Yokosuka Line a few stops to Kamakura Station. I walked down Komachi-dori Street to Toshimaya Main Store, famous for its Hato Sable cookies. The store was bustling, as it was the end of the year, and seasonal New Year's sweets were beautifully displayed.
The red and white Japanese sweets and sweets shaped like the zodiac animals make perfect gifts. They'll add a touch of color to any New Year's table.
The sights of Kamakura's old streets and the gentle sea breeze along the way added a touch of class to the trip. Even while running errands, I felt like I was on a mini-vacation.
I bought bread at Bakery KIBIYA and had a drink at Oui Oui.
After seeing the city hall featured in the drama "Second to Last Love," I went shopping for New Year's food at KINOKUNIYA.
