#September Good Places 2025
This Komachi Street, which extends all the way from Kamakura Station, is like a food paradise,! 😋
Once you enter Komachi-dori, you can smell the baking aroma of Toshimaya's giant pigeon biscuits, which is really intriguing. Then come the matcha ice cream, milky mixed with slightly tart tea flavor, teeth and cheeks; there is also a senbei specialty shop nearby, charcoal moxibustion soy sauce aroma is super good!
🧆Must-eat recommendation: Kamakura Auspicious Coke Cake, the crust is fried to crispy, the inside of mashed potatoes melts in your mouth, you are not afraid to eat non-stop! Walking along the street, you will also see fresh big strawberries wrapped in smooth red beans, strawberry daifuku🍓, seafood bowl and other authentic Japanese food.
Although some popular shops may have to queue up, the whole atmosphere is noisy and happy ~ Komachi-dori perfectly combines traditional Japanese confectionery with authentic snacks, whether it is taking pictures, sweeping the streets or feeling the Kamakura ancient capital culture with your taste buds, it is the same full score✨
📍Address: 2-chome, Komachi, Kamakura, Kanagawa, Japan
🚉 Transportation: About 2 minutes walk from Kamakura Station
⏰Opening hours: Most stores around 10:00-18:00, depending on each store
This is definitely the best place to start your Kamakura food tour! Remember to reserve more belly skin, walk slowly, eat slowly ~
